Renovated over the winter to allow for as little disruption to the client, this endearing home offers the perfect retreat from the capital city while still offering great connections.
The array of materials used on this property are what provide it with such charm. From teak framing for the window shutters and outdoor covering to have selected decorative handmade products, including the bathroom tiles and the delicate duck egg blue paint for the exterior window shutters.
Boosting spectacular views of Palma Bay and beyond, the garden is one of this home's many key assets. The spacious courtyard is enjoyed all year round with both its custom-built wooden shelter frame and seating area, hosting up to 12 guests.
Working extensively on this property's features, ensuring attention to detail, is what makes this home so unique and stand alone in the area. The combination of the exposed stone walls, traditional Mallorquin window shutters, and breath-taking floor to ceiling windows results in the harmonious aesthetic seen here.
This property was tailored by us, to create paradise. The key attribute this client was looking for in their next home was a rural country home, a short distance from Palma. Seeking a property with a generous garden but with prompt access to the city is no easy feat; however, with our extensive knowledge of Majorca, we were able to meet the client’s dream request.
Home to our first-ever organic swimming pool, this home boasts many features including four plant filtration systems, two football pitch sized grass areas and a log-cabin inspired outdoor office.
With the request of having the whole home as a 1-floor bungalow, Thomas Edwards sourced an existing plot of urban land which sat adjacent to a large rural plot. We carried out all due diligence on the land before negotiating a price and condition with the vendors. Once confirming the client was happy, we secured the purchase of the plot and completed the buy in six months.
During the six months of completion, we started the planning and submitted the building plans shortly after in order to speed up the project process. We then put the job out for tender to our range of different contractors, presented our team to the client and with the approval, then managed the entire project for 24 months until its completion. We continue to manage this estate and its maintenance to this day.
