Every last detail of this villa has been transformed from a run down structure
throughout the renovation of the project.
We worked closely with our client to make sure that all aspects were covered as
we worked on tearing out damp ridden plaster, old insulation and old roof tile
which were damaging the property.
New insulation, walls, plastering and roof tiles have been put in place. We made
sure to retain some key features, including all of the windows and shutters and
stone wall features.
Most of the roof had to be replaced. There were several challenges with this
project, but we were able to modernise most of the exterior and interior of this
home relatively quickly and without many legal issues.
Our clients on this project had a very specific brief. They wanted to keep all of the
rustic elements, including the stone wall feature, while also updating all of the
features and fixings to a modern and contemporary finish.
The property is almost completely finished: it has taken us just under one year to
do the full re-construction and renovation but the clients are extremely pleased
with the results.
The remaining work to do on the upstairs terrace which leads out from the
master bedroom, requires some additional planning permission to extend the
roof. Fortunately, with our expertise dealing with the local town council we were
able to submit our paperwork in good time and it has been accepted.
Paintwork to finish has been done by our fantastic team of talented workmen.
